  • Your name and contact details, including email address and phone number
  • Your company or organisation name
  • Your postal address
  • Details of the matter you are enquiring about
  • Any other information you choose to provide in a message or form submission

We do not collect any special category personal data through our website forms unless you voluntarily include it in a free-text field.

We use the personal data you provide to:

We will not use your personal data for unsolicited marketing purposes and we will not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing use.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • Consent — where you have ticked the consent box on our booking or enquiry form
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about the services you have requested
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or process data to comply with applicable law

5. How long we keep your data

If you submit an enquiry but do not proceed to instruct us, we will retain your contact details for a reasonable period to manage that enquiry and then securely delete them.

If you become a client, we retain your personal data for as long as required by our professional obligations and applicable law, typically a minimum of six years from the end of the matter.

6. Third-party services

Our booking form is powered by Microsoft Forms, which is subject to Microsoft's own privacy policy. By submitting the booking form, your data is processed by Microsoft on our behalf. We encourage you to review Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Our website is hosted on third-party hosting infrastructure. Standard server logs may be collected by our hosting provider but are not used to identify individual users.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at etd@etdefence.co.uk.

8. Cookies

This website uses only essential functionality and does not deploy tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party embedded services such as Microsoft Forms may set their own cookies, which are governed by those providers' own policies.
